Who we are

18 years ago Perry , the owner of Pushing Inc. began his apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist. After serving his apprenticeship, Perry and his partner (one of a handful of piercing pioneers) helped develop the skills and standards we've come to expect today and together they opened Pushing Inc. Their desire to produce a studio that not only held great talent, but had excellent customer service lead him to where he is now. Although he has travelled down other artistic venues, it is his great pieces of skin art that have earned him an excellent reputation not only in Barrie and Ontario but worldwide. His partner has since moved on to pursue other fields of interest and challenges.

After bugging Perry beyond the point of normality, Jamie was invited into the Pushing Inc. Family. In 1997, Jamie Russo began his career as an apprentice and has been with the company since. Now a full time artist and part time pin cushion, Jamie has also gained the stature of “Chief of Staff” for the company. Through the years Jamie has etched quite a name for himself in the tattoo world .

2003 began at a new location with a new member to the staff. Tracy was hired earlier that year and has quickly become an integral part of the Pushing Inc. crew. Faced with the tasks of dealing with customers, answering phones, putting a smile on the faces of clients in the chairs, and general shop duties, she has excelled.

Ashley joined us in September, 2006. She was hired to help out with reception and studio duties. Her cheerful attitude and charasmatic personality has made her a welcome member to the team here at Pushing Inc.
