Jamie is a member of the Ontario tattoo association, National tattoo association and the alliance of professional tattooists. Every employee is blood born pathogen certified and attend annual tattoo conventions throughout the year.

For twenty-nine years we’ve been providing body art at its best and look forward to continuing on with our legacy. Pushing Inc. has been recognized, not only for its award-winning artists but also for helping to improve the sterilization process and standards of cleanliness in the tattoo industry. Our commitment to providing excellent customer service and our passion for one of a kind artwork has us servicing clients from all over Canada and the United States.
Custom artwork and cover-ups are our specialties. We love creating one-of-a-kind designs. Our artists are extremely personable and will work with you to help turn your ideas into a permanent piece of wearable art. Your health, happiness, and satisfaction are important to us. We take great pride in our customer service and the return customers and referrals we receive, shows the success of our vision; to run a clean, friendly and professional studio that houses extremely talented artists.
Originally built on a farm in Oro-Medonte, Pushing Inc. moved to Barrie’s Dunlop Street in 1993, as the result of increasing popularity. Following the devastating Five Points Fire in December 2007, Pushing Inc. relocated to Rose Street for a few years then to East Street.
As of February 2018, we have a new studio that is bigger and better to serve you. We have situated our self on a beautiful busy corner of Mapleveiw Dr. W and Essa Rd. Like our clients, we love the roomy, bright and comfortable atmosphere we’ve established at the studio. Our studio is Health Department inspected and certified. We are presently scheduling appointments via phone, Facebook and/or e-mail.
At Pushing Inc., the safety and comfort of our clients are our top priority. Pushing Inc. is one of a handful of studios that have worked with the Health Boards in Ontario to help develop the inspection and cleanliness standards we have today. Pushing Inc. is also certified in Infection Control and Bloodbourne Pathogens. Our studio is noted for its extreme cleanliness. We take every precaution that is available to us so that there are no risks to our customers. We use single-use ink caps and razors, steri-packs, autoclaved single-use needles, tubes and tools, and fully set-up and tear-down for each tattoo in front of the client. Everything is plastic wrapped and all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected after every tattoo.
The dedication and talent of our artists are easy to see. We are proud of our artwork; our pieces have been known to stand the test of time, which means your tattoo will still look incredible once it heals and stay looking incredible for years to come.

At Pushing Inc. we take customer service extremely serious. Our attention to detail to our client’s needs shows in our work. We love working together in collaborating ideas with our clients to give them one of a kind tattoos that are just for them. We can draw out your ideas for you or work from your sketches. We will have fun either way. We strive on making sure that every client is happy with all that we do. To achieve your satisfaction our artists work with you one on one with your idea to make the perfect design. The application of the tattoo is not even considered until you the client are fully satisfied with the design. You should come and spend some time with us in our relaxed friendly atmosphere than you can see for yourself just how fun we are!
